Course: Augmented Reality

This lecture provides an introduction to the basic concepts of Augmented Reality, with a particular focus on methods for tracking, 3D user interfaces and visualization in AR environments.
Various aspects of image and video processing, as they occur in modern processing tools, are developed and implemented. Methods for image acquisition, image processing and image synthesis are developed. Participants will be enabled to design, implement and evaluate Augmented Reality applications and thus make independent contributions to research and industry.
Students will create an Augmented Reality Environment of their choice, you can find some of the examples from previous years below.
